On 10 October 2025, Italy’s AI Law (Law No. 132/2025) entered into force – the first comprehensive national AI framework in the EU. While its scope spans areas such as minors’ protection, AI training data, copyright, and deepfakes, the real question is how far it can go within the boundaries of the AI Act.
