Proposed Guidance for Evaluating LOCAs Encourages Early Adopters of New Approaches

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission recently released Draft Interim Staff Guidance (ISG) DSS-ISG-2025-XX, Treatment of Certain Loss-of-Coolant Accident Locations as Beyond-Design-Basis Accidents.
