Senate Passes 2026 NDAA Including BIOSECURE Act Amendment

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the Senate passed its version of the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (the “NDAA”), which includes the latest version of the BIOSECURE Act (the “Amendment”) as an amendment. The House version of the NDAA does not include the Amendment, and negotiations will be ongoing regarding the contents of the final NDAA.
