UK FCA Consults on Progressing Fund Tokenisation

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published consultation paper CP25/28, accompanied by a press release, outlining proposals to accelerate the adoption of tokenisation and tokenised funds in the UK. The proposals apply to authorised funds but the FCA’s discussion and roadmap sections may be of wider interest to fund and asset managers, including managers of non-authorised funds.
